Mainland Southeast Asia: Look Closer
About this Challenge We’re looking for photos and videos that document culture and daily life across Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Whether you live there, grew up there, or just passed through with curious eyes, show us what you saw. From the street corners of Bangkok and the lantern-lit evenings of Hoi An to the markets of Phnom Penh, the riverbanks of Vientiane, and the golden pagodas of Yangon, focus on the details that make a place feel alive. The street food prepared with pride. The morning markets before the crowds arrive. The incense drifting through temple courtyards. The motorbikes, riverboats, alleyways, and roadside stalls that shape the daily rhythm from sunrise to well past dark. Two exceptional submissions will be selected by the Pexels Curation team.
